I can say with certainty their software development tools are crap crap from the 1980’s.

Nonsense. Xcode 4 is state of the art. As one fluent in Objective C, Visual Basic, Action Script, RealBasic, and MS C++. I can say that Xcode is my favorite IDE. It beats Visual Studio hands down in its simplicity and raw power.

Nonsense... Visual Studio C# and .Net has it beaten hands down.

Objective - C is nothing but [bracketed macros] or a big watery BM.

Objective-C was created primarily by Brad Cox and Tom Love in the early 1980s at their company Stepstone. Both had been introduced to Smalltalk while at ITT Corporation's Programming Technology Center in 1981.

State of the art in 1981 (30+ years ago).
