The problem here is that Akin just handed the democrats a narrative. Since most of the media is liberal, the tale that will be spun is that pro-lifers are the ignorant American Taliban. To most people, who do not follow politics like political junkies, this narrative will be all they hear.

He really did not. And the conservatives and independents will mostly agree with him on the subject of false rape, so no real damage done by Akin; just by the GOPe bedwetters.
