This whole thing is a mountain out of a molehill.
YES, it was a stupid statement and that alone shows me he doesn’t have good judgement.

That said women DO to some extenr regulate their cycles. Isn’t a fact, I can’t quote the studies right now, that females in groups, like in a college dorm or in a close family, sync their cycles?

Isn’t that known to anilmal breeders?

If that can be altered other things may be alterable as well.

The problem is semantics, legitimate rape versus brutal rape. Yes all rapes can be described as brutal however I am refering to a rape that triggers drastic hormone response.

Without getting too far into details is it posdible for a victim of a brutal rape to get pregnant? YES! However it may not be probable.

Akin knows more about his state than I do. If it were me I would step down but he may know something I don’t.

Correction, Akin knows his cozy US house district better than both of us.

IMO, he doesn't know the whole state of Missouri or the nation with his ignorant remarks.

I live in rural Missouri. Here are some facts: Prior to the primary, in head to head polling, Claire was losing to all 3 Republicans, by double digits. The margin that Akin was winning by was smaller than the other 2 candidates, Steelman and Brunner. Claire blanketed the state of Missouri with ads promoting Akin, there were a lot of democrat crossover voters who according to what was told to me were voting for Akin to “f-— up” the election. As of right now, the lead Akin had, well claire is up by 10 points, Romney’s lead in Missouri is gone as well. And the main person telling Akin to stay in the race is Claire herself.
Akin is toast. I don’t get the concept of standing behind a candidate who is an idiot that is losing a seat that a rusted out pinto could win. Akin is “standing on principle”. No,he’s staying because of pride and he would rather lose and let this pro-abortion hag win than admit that he screwed the pooch. He’s either stupid or evil, and in a time like this, there is little to no difference.
