Not correct.
US military does not use hollow point ammunition.
Civilian police and citizens use it almost exclusively.
As I have read the reports, the vast majority of the ammo is .40 cal, or handgun fodder. I’m not sure about most of us vets, but I’m old and overweight and can’t run fast. So I bought a .308 black rifle so I can reach out and touch the bastards. Also, I have a great supply of ammo.
