I buy jerky for human comsumption, and its usually a little cheaper. Have to take it easy on the amount, the vet doesn’t like the sulfides (I think thats it) in jerky..

Yeah, in those treats sulfites are a concern and sodium levels, possibly. Moderate amts okay.

Along the same lines, years ago my Vet confided to me there is no such thing as "dog food." Although, strangely, she does sell quite a bit of it from her lobby... Now my dogs have received a lifelong varied meat and vegetable diet (with some nightly ice cream), and all have lived very extended, healthy lives.

And, no, Chinese food is never on the menu.

I buy a cheap cut of meat on sale at the grocery store and make jerky with my dehydrator.

My dogs love it, cheaper than dog jerky and no sulfides.

Plus it takes a couple of bucks out of the Chinese governments military program.
