I was totally turned off because the site requires you to enter your e-mail address before you register. Then it informs me that it’s a pay service. It would have been nice to know that before I was forced to give away info.
Go to Yahoo or Google or the myriad of free email places and get an address or two that you only use online for internet or business purposes.
I have about 10 different email addresses I categorize in my usage.
When a website asks for your information first, it is a clear sign that YOU are their product.
BTW privacy policies are 100% worthless in bankruptcy. You name and contact infor is easily sold with no restrictions by trustees.

I had the EXACT same reaction a number of years ago, and I’m still angry about it. You spend a bunch of time on their site, as they draw you closer and closer, then they say, out of nowhere PAY UP!!!! I left them then, and never came back.
I did the same thing the other day, put in my email and then went to next page about paying. I was surprised - no where do they say that until... So I didn’t proceed. Next thing I get is an email from them. They are dishonest, I hate dishonesty and sneaky tactics.
