Years ago, 1994 to be exact, I was on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The show was about Baby Boomers vs. Baby Busters and if the new generation were slackers. The economy was in the toilet and the show became about that.

A black woman in the audience got up and suggested that women should stay out of the workforce. I will never forget the look on Oprah’s face!!! The audience moaned and the was no discussion.

Thanks for bringing back an interesting memory for me!

Think about how salaries and wages for men would move upward if a shortage of labor prevailed in this country.

At one time, that might have been true. The CEO class which emerged from the World War II generation had a shared experience with the proles and would have bid up the wages and salaries of men.

Now, they have no loyalty to their country, their society or anything except the bottom line. They will simply import H1b workers (if available) or illegal aliens (if not) in order to hold the line on wages. And the gubmint will encourage it because we need more diversity or more clients to support the growing welfare state and army of wealth redistributors.
