Based on my understanding of the situation, definitely no pity for the original owner.
Whatever is best for the GSD even if that means changing owners. Though, they long for their masters.
No dog on earth is more loyal than a Dobe.
I’ve rescued dozens of them and after a period of ‘mourning’, they transfer their incredible loyalty to the one who is taking care of them after somebody else did not.
She deserves better.
She’ll love another, again.
