Is a blog pimp bad?
With that question, I wonder if you're not trying to play dumb, just to reel me in somehow. But ok, buddy, I'll bite.
If they just be a-pimpin', to drive hits for ad revenue elsewhere, then yes.
Bloggers at one time were not welcome here, at all. This place does have a mission, but we do get distracted...
Bloggers can be welcome, but it can help to learn the culture.
I've not much followed scottjewell but he does appear to be an example of a decent blogger-type.
Notice he doesn't hit-and-run, like that other bad example which was shown to you.
"thackney" brought a pertinent post to your attention also.
All of this can help, if you could absorb it. That (understanding) might not happen immediately. This place has it's own culture. I'm trying to help you understand it.
