A budget resolution based on President Obamas 2013 budget failed to get any votes in the Senate on Wednesday.
In a 99-0 vote, all of the senators present rejected the presidents blueprint.
Its the second year in a row the Senate has voted down Obamas budget.
Obama's 2012 budget failed 97 to 0 last May after Obama himself last April said he wanted deeper deficit cuts.
The House earlier this year unanimously rejected Obama's budget. (Failed 414 - 0)

So, this is proof that more people like Ryan’s economic plan over Obama’s budget?
Shhh. I think Romney should save this for the debates and tell the American people that President Obama cannot possibly lead the nation when his budget cannot get a single vote from his own party.
It’s a total failure of leadership.
I’m not even clear why the dems did this, you would think some of the worst liberals would give Obama some votes. I guess it was that bad.
Yup, all Ryan has to say is, “I bet my plan would get a whole lot more than 0 votes.”
Mr Zero.
Correction. Zero. “Mr” implies respect.
To be perfectly fair, Obama got just as many votes for his budgets as the Senate Democrats got for their budgets. LOL
Thanks stocksthatgoup.
This President has failed to ever have a budget proposal passed. If people managed their personal finances like our Federal government manages theirs, they would be thrown in prison.
In spite of the fact that even a gang of completely drunk squirrels would be competent enough to write a budget that would garner at least a few votes in Congress, there’s a pretty good chance the voters will be giving this idiot another 4 years.
“At little or no cost to you!”
This about says it all. He proposes a budget but then says he wants deper deficit cuts. He gives the masses the spending they want but then also says he wants a balanced budget so that the dirty work is forced onto everyone else. Then the Dems in the Senate abdicate responsibility so that they aren't forced to make the hard choices. This is clear evidence of a bankrupt governing philosophy. They have to keep increasing spending even though they have no plan to pay for it.
Simple. The dems want to run the country without a budget. They like being able to spend money without any ramifications. As long as they don't pass a budget no one can claim they are over spending.
Also a total failure of leadership that BO has to issue so many executive orders because he’s to lazy to try to work with Republicans. Yes, I know that takes a lot of work and schmoozing to get people to see your point. BO doesn’t like to work so he just waves his wand and declares whatever to be and it is—it’s much easier that way and shows zero leadership. Mitt needs to talk about this.
