Someone took a large knife to my front passenger tire overnight. My car is parked right off the street. I have several political bumper stickers: a pink elephant, George Washington with a teardrop running down his cheek. Sarah Palin in revolutionary garb. One that says "Our founding fathers would be shooting by now," to name a few. I live in a very liberal area in Montgomery County, outside Philadelphia.
My husband's ticked. We called the policed who'll file a report. Hubby wants me to remove the stickers but I'll be damned if I'm cowing to anyone, especially "tolerant" liberals. If it happens again, I'm not sure what I'll do.
I’m proud of my political persuasion. It’s the mental midgets on the other side who should be ashamed.
Buy a infrared game camera with motion detection and color to try to catch the perps in the act...then turn over the evidence to the police.
You could be right. I have had most of those stickers on my car for years now. The size of the knife that did the damage is scary though. Like Bowie knife sized.

Bingo! Set up a camera and you may bag a Democrat activist or candidate.
Put a sign on your car pointing out how intolerant liberals can be and point to the fact that you expect it to happen again because they cannot tolerate an opposing point of view.

I don’t even know where to begin. Expressing your political opinion on your own property is not equivalent to shouting a racial epithet in a public place. Even so, if someone wielded a knife in response, they would not be within their “rights” unless they were named “Trayvon”. Yeah, that’s sarcasm. Very soon, the lefties will justify violence against patriots and the knives won’t be sticking in tires alone.
Set up some infrared video cameras. You may have the next viral Youtube hit!

during the run up to the 2008 election, a car was torched that had mccain / palin stickers. another was keyed. another had tires slashed.

I would say....triple up on stickers...only after you put a camera (actually two or three) up. You want to have absolute coverage of all directions. When the person comes (my humble bet is that it’ll be a high school teacher or local professor) to knife the second time...because it’s just too tempting with double and triple the number of stickers, you don’t report it to the cops. You go and knife all four of their tires and use a pair of keys to fix up their hood real good.
