Oh my!! My dog Otis got it from a porcupine when we were
in Queechee,VT. Had to go under general anesthesia to
have them removed,but nothing like that! WOW!
Thank goodness for the emergency veterinary clinics that
exist.
We had a Lab who found a porkie by the camp in VT...fortunately there were just a few quills in her snout.
Any porkie we find near the camp [usually found by the side of the road licking a wood post] gets dispatched with a single round to the head....to avoid dog v porkie encounters.
