Every time they wanted to get me out of Administration and into the Branch Banking system, I politely declined. LOL
I was pretty much a Banker's little helper. I gave them 32 years and took early Retirement before the job put me in an early grave. Two years later, I get diagnosed with CLL and the rest is history.
Let me ask you. If I simplify the past decade in my mind it seems the whole of the financial collapse developed as the 'too-big-to-fail' banks engaged in the gambling cover with the derivitives debaucle came to life as the AIG derivitives were called upon to actualize from notional values as counterparties made claims on the derivitive agreements. AIG could not perform on their agreements and the dominoes fell, only stopping with the injection of 600 billion to Goldman, AIG, and heaven knows who else.
Anyway, I hope the CLL is in remission or better cured. Good luck to you.
