Xsbro and SIL are in green bay visiting my niece who’s is finishing her internship at proctor and gamble. They toured the plant this AM and saw how the huge rolls of paper get made into products. Her company picnic was last w/e and they were given craploads (ha) of toilet
Paper, napkins and paper towels to take away. Told my SIL it sounds like a Mister Rogers episode! Loved the graham cracker one!
Thanks!
Well, I still would have rather seen Rubio for VP, but Ryan is likely a good choice-I hope he doesn’t mince words or back down-an MMA champ is needed now...
I’m excited for Ryan, even though I wanted Rubio. Checked in to see what the FR nutters were saying and they of course are still blithering loons, but I think most same people are happy. Xsbaby is out in Manassas VA awaiting the Romney/Ryan appearance.
The Ryan choice either show Romney is going to be making the “we’re broke and we need to reform entitlements” economic argument.
Unless he plans on sitting idly by while the Dems show Ryan pushing granny off a cliff.
You’re presuming Ryan will be sitting there with his teeth in his mouth, mute and allowing that to happen. He’s been vilified throughout and is not passive. Think he can speak forcefully and articulately on his own behalf.
The point was that Romney is going to have to defend his Vp choice’s budget ideas. Which is good.
I cannot believe the VP pick. I am so happy he picked off my wish list. I think it shows Romney’s commitment to Ryan’s values. I have hope for this NOvember. Been smiling all day. Family reunion was great. Love having my kiddies all together. It was an exhausting day, I enjoyed every minute of it.
Rubio and others would have been good, but the economy and lack of a Dem budget will be highlighted now. Those are some basic issues that we face, and Ryan will spearhead changes we need. I have been smiling since this morning when I got up and spotted the coming announcement. I watched the speeches and cannot even begin to wipe the smile off my face.
I spotted a brief news story featuring Ryan this past week. He was grinning ear to ear, must have been pretty heady for him to get the nod. Seems like it came back on the Aug. 1st. Amazing that it was kept under wraps for so long. MSM must be shocked. Haven’t been able to watch any news today.
Just so happy about this.
Ryan is just so handsome...those broad shoulders and all...
He is, also, a forceful debater, confident, knowledgeable. He was there to see EVERYTHING Obama did and didn’t do and he WILL highlight it to the American people. When Obama trashed him before, he was a little known (outside of political junkies) Rep from WI. Now he has a bully pulpit to make his case and it will be listened to.
Diehard Dems will not want him, but they will vote Obama no matter who was picked. I think independents, businessmen, pubbies will LOVE what Ryan has to say.
