In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
nubilous \NOO-buh-luhs\, adjective
1. Cloudy or foggy.
2. Obscure or vague; indefinite..
Example sentences:
...trunks as thick as whisky casks and bark like rough-out leather, tower overhead so that the path between them is sheltered from the sun, creating a nubilous atmosphere, soft and pungent with resins, while soft brown needles cushion one's tread.
-- Michael Petracca, Captain Zzyzx
The sky above, dark and nubilous, parted like torn, plump bread and under a sun absorbent and intense, the water began to recede over low bridges. The storm was ending.
-- Elizabeth Léonie Simpson, Stranger From Home
Etymology:
Nubilous comes from the Latin root nūb meaning "cloud."
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

WFB's attempt to emulate us ; ) No pushing at the door please!
You’re missing some great performances. USA! USA! USA!
And some wonderful stories, like Holly, the little sister of the NFL player, who is a heavyweight weight lifter and they interviewed him and he said he was just so proud of her. It was a sweet moment.
Kind of disturbing that you even know what jeggings are... No male in my household does...
Ummm...twas you that hipped me to that fact, dude....
Not ‘the NFL player’
Nick, the best center in the NFL Mangold. ; )
Oops. Forgot.
Obama’s history is nubilous,
His zombies orgasmic, nay jubilous!
But conservative we,
Are stuck with Romney,
But determined to wreck those that screw with us!
How could you, It was that nice pic you sent from vacation with the 4 inch clogs, the ankle bracelet, the jeggings... ; )
Oh yes, that’s my look for sure. You got me pegged.
A+ for you!
She ought to give you a smack just for writing the word “jeggings”.
