In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
nubilous \NOO-buh-luhs\, adjective
1. Cloudy or foggy.
2. Obscure or vague; indefinite..
Example sentences:
...trunks as thick as whisky casks and bark like rough-out leather, tower overhead so that the path between them is sheltered from the sun, creating a nubilous atmosphere, soft and pungent with resins, while soft brown needles cushion one's tread.
-- Michael Petracca, Captain Zzyzx
The sky above, dark and nubilous, parted like torn, plump bread and under a sun absorbent and intense, the water began to recede over low bridges. The storm was ending.
-- Elizabeth Léonie Simpson, Stranger From Home
Etymology:
Nubilous comes from the Latin root nūb meaning "cloud."
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

Mitt's Veep pick is still
nubilous. Don't want Tpaw, Portman or Jindal, but would be ok with Rubio, Ryan or McDonnell. It's getting on time to take out the brass knuckles.

The CA clan missed their flight last night, got up this morning to head to the airport and found the text. 7 hours late. The letdown is killing me. I am losing a day with them.

Satan chuckles. Seriously, Catholics should take what a KENNEDY says about Catholic religion as gospel? I don't give a dang what anyone's beliefs are, they are entitled to them, but DAMMIT, do NOT try to tell me what the CHURCH's beliefs are as seen through the prism of your own leftwing ideology. Drives me insane.

Some say that Dear Reader is nubilous
To others, knowingly unscrupulous.
But whichever you choose
We’ve got so much to lose-
With him, our survival is dubious

Nubilous. hmm... So similar to nebulous. Why do we need two words?

I prefer to use the term “nebulous” more than “nubulous.”
