She bagged the coveted role of the new Doctor Who assistant five months ago, and Jenna-Louise Coleman has now got to work in shooting what is believed to be her debut scenes. When I was dating my wife, my mother made us each a Tom Baker scarf about 18 feet long. Those were the greatest things during winter!
Thank you. I just started watching Torchwood and noticed a few gay references, but lately ,end of first season and beginning of season 2, it has become what I would expect soft core porn to be. It really is too bad because it could have been such an interesting series.
Russel T Davies is homosexual, and you have to give him credit for getting Doctor Who back on the air, and he is indeed a very talented writer... HOWEVER, he’s also a propogandous for his lifestyle.. EVERY, and I do mean EVERY episode of Doctor Who made while he was in charge had some sort of gay reference, couple or otherwise in it, every single one, often not suprisingly in sympathetic roles.. They rarely served any purpose to the story, but were thrown in there for propogands purposes.
Torchwood’s main character is “bisexual”, and introduced in Doctor Who.... the entire Torchwood series simply ran with this to the nth degree, everything was in your face and silly whether it be a straight character becoming GAY for a story line, or the underlying unrequited homosexuality between Jack and the other guy, etc etc etc.. the whole things just a propoganda nonsensical piece. If you remove those elements from the series its not a bad series, but its clear that this vehicle was all about propoganda to “normalize” homosexuality in the minds of the masses.
The show was clearly about, put a little bit more in each week to push what people will accept to the point of insanity. This isn’t the only show, currently its nearly impossible to find a prime time TV show without a gay character.. even thought they are 1% of the population at most... You are going to find more homosexual characters on TV than you will Blacks, Asians or Hispanics... right now the entire television industry is going full tilt on forcing homosexuality into your home so your kids will not give it a second thought.. its propoganda on a weekly scale in 5 -10 minute bits.
Not a fan of Matt Smith, didn’t like the casting originally and not overly fond of it now... but it is what it is. The companion role is a bit crazy, never know when or where the Doctor will leave one and get another.
I know I’m in the minority on this, but while I enjoyed Tennants run, I really thought Eccleston portrayed a far superior doctor in his brief year reintroducing the character... When I watched the very first episode of the new series, he had me sold the first time I saw that huge grin and heard him declare “Fantastic!” I knew the doctor had truly returned.

Nope, but I love me some Cheerwine.. Chilled in a glass over Ice... I use that as a special treat at the end of a long day.
