Apparently Palin in the hideous shoes failed to persuade sufficient #s for Sarah Steelman, because she lost with only 29% of the vote in the run off, unforch.

It’s a shame though as a Senate with Sarah Steelman would have been much easier on the eyes than a Senate with Todd Akin...
