A very sobering choice for us in November, but I am not going to be emotionally bullied into voting for Romney with Obama’s negatives being used as a club to beat me into line.
No intent on bullying in any way. I just find it puzzling that a certain population of the Republican Party (presumably) will stay home and pout on election day if Ronald Reagan’s zombie is not the candidate, or they will just write in Duncan Hunter.
Romney is the GOP candidate. That’s it. He is flawed and questionably conservative. There is never perfection in human beings.
It’s bad enough that Gary Johnson (who I like) will peel off thousands of votes, Romney is the best chance to beat Obama, and beat Obama we must, and I will vote for Romney even though I like Johnson better.
You want a conservative government? Focus on donating time and money to conservative senatorial and congressional candidates, even if they are outside of your district. This will blunt the potential lack of conservative instinct of a Romney presidency. Just hold your nose and vote. It’s a start.
I especially love the idiots who (STILL) believe that we who won't vote for Obama or their boy Romney are therefore going to stay home and pout. The number of posts I read from people who attempt to posit that belief continues to annoy me. I guess in their fevered little minds there are only two possible choices this fall.
