Given the weak opposition that the Republicans provided Obama, what makes you think that these same spineless Congress members will stand up to a President of their own party? Given little substantive difference in most positions between Obama and Romney, there is a real possibility that Romney and his Republican lapdogs will push a progressive agenda farther than Obama could. Just because Romney claims to be a Republican doesn't mean that he has ever had a conservative thought in his life.
