“Ahhhh, thats cute. Until the kitty gets big and hungry.”
Have no fear. The dog’s a PIT BULL, meaning he’ll soon eat the lion.

Three days after we moved into our house my wife brought home a male Cocker Spaniel named Cody that had been severely abused. It took about 6 months to get him to have some confidence. after another 6 months my wife's work schedule changed so we got him a little sister to keep him company.
The first night he went up to her and licked her and cuddled her. The next day he did the same thing. She thanked him by biting on to his ear and having him drag her around the hardwood floors.
She really taught him how to play and have fun, something his life had been lacking for the first 7 years.
The were the best of friends and he really was her protector in spite of all the torture she gave him.
She was absolutely beside herself when we had to put him down from liver cancer. We all still miss him.

A reminder that animals will take care of each other. An important teaching lesson.
