Today marks the 49th anniversary of the day I joined the US Navy. I didn’t know I was that old ;^). And believe it or not, I can still fit into my Dress Blues.

Today marks the 49th anniversary of the day I joined the US Navy.
Sounds like a long time ago but when you think about it, that time has gone by fast. Congrats on the fit!
I graduated in '64 and they started planning our 50th Reunion this past February. (I think they're afraid of what may happen to our country before then and want to be able to say...'We tried!'). I asked them why we had to wait until 2014! Why not be different and do a 48th? Who really cares what the number is and, if all is well in 2014, we can do a 50th too!
