~Welcome To Sunday At Amy's Place~

9. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.

10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

11. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.~ Psalm 57:9-11

The gorgeous yellow, gold trees appear to be ‘quaking Aspen’. This is the time when the color changes. We have gone to Red River north of Santa Fe, New Mexico over the years and the Aspen trees are simply beautiful. My favorite trees among the pines. Several years back there was a pine worm that caused the death of thousands of pine trees in the mountains of Red River area. A few years later It was in the paper that the Aspens were dying for an unknown reason. It would be too sad if the Aspen death continued. I miss it. It has been about 5 years since going there. Our children are all grown and scattered, N.CA., Florida,Houston. Red River was a great family vacation spot in the past. Everything changes. They do have a skiing season.

God bless the trees of the mountains of America. It is uplifting for our souls. Thank Thee LORD for thy grace. Amen
