Maybe that’s why my sons can’t seem to get the apostrophe right — they were educated, largely, in TX!

I was educated entirely in Texas and I know the correct useage of an apostrophe, as do my children. I guess each child learns differently.

Both of my sons married Tennessee women. Perhaps that is where the mis-use of the apostrophe comes from, and they are too gentlemanly to correct their lovely wives. My daughters certainly know how to use it.
