You have my sincere condolences.

My beloved wife died in July 2001. Shortly afterward three different women spoke to me these words:

“She knows that you love her!”

I believe now that they were messengers sent. May you feel the same comfort and know that our loved ones have only been called home to that blessed place of God’s presence that we all hope one day to see.

My sweet wife had spent many weeks in hospital over the course of our short time together. The home always felt empty when she was gone.

Not so now. The home feels warm and inviting. She is there and though I cannot see her, I know she is there.

Yes, she knew that I loved her as she did me.
