SG, i wanted to ask if during your visit you saw any Obama propaganda? xsteen had occasion to ride the subway this past weekend and said they had obamabots out registering voters at the Ballston metro stop wearing their Obamabot tshirts, and that there were billboards/signs in all the subway stations declaring Mitt Romney TOO EXTREME for VIRGINIA, bc he advocated overturing Roe v. Wade. She said the signs were everywhere, and that was the only issue that was featured.
We didn’t see a single political sign or person soliciting anywhere on or near Metro. We did see some anti-frackers, complete with signs, frizzy, unkempt hair, and Birks on Sat. pm, coming back from a protest somewhere. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and how helpful everyone was.
