“And as a trial lawyer Ted Cruz reminds me of John Edwards in his rhetoric.”
That statement is the epitome of intellectual laziness. The ONLY thing those two have in common is that they both went to law school.
Edwards was a personal injury lawyer before entering politics.
Cruz is a appellate lawyer (google to learn more since you apparently don’t understand the difference), successfully served as the Solicitor General for Texas, and argued successfully in front of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
Night and day.
Really, you have nothing of substance to say. He’s a lawyer, OMG!!!
And I agree, we do not need any more lawyers as representatives.
We need people who have lived in the real world, not the lawyer world, such as John Roberts.
They are both extremely effective, persuasive arguers and debaters. The difference is, Ted is on our side, Edwards is on their side. And boy does the Republican Party need more articulate, persuasive, and conservative speakers.
