Shortly after police arrested 19-year-old Margaux for her role in allegedly luring an ex-boyfriend to be beaten by two men—who were armed with a baseball bat and pipe—Wyckoff, NJ police made two more arrests. And one of the arrestees is Tocci's current boyfriend!

I do not know what you mean by "passive". There are no passive constructions (verb forms with aux is/was/been and perfect participle).
This is simply another way to form the possessive: of foo vs. foo's.

It's not Beverly Hills.
She used to be very pretty.
Now she looks thirty years older than her chronological age.
A break up should always involve a clean break. Never try to reconnect for any reason, other than communications between lawyers.
She was quite pretty before, now she looks terrible. I don’t think she is long for this world.
She’ll probably be fine, outwardly, if she’d put 15 or 20 lbs back on her frame.
However, there will be some level of permanent residual damage. Possible muscle tissue damage, perhaps.
