I also have a problem with ag-state Republicans in that they are also owned by big-ag. Food stamps is a PERFECT EXAMPLE. Big-ag loves them, as they fatten up people by having them eat more food than they should.

I am an Ag State Republican. I strongly disagree with your statement. Do you live in an Ag State? Can you site any specific examples?

Well, I do mean the ones with political power. They get their money from farm interests, I GET THAT. But Ethanol would be LONG GONE if it were not for the Republicans from that part of the country.

It just upsets me that the rest of the country has to pay the price.

As for an example - this story. It’s a big-ag Republican complaining about food policy. He’s right, but I’d rather have a disinterested Republican doing the complaining.

But like I said before, the Food Stamp stuff that those Republicans support is SICKENING.
