RIP...good guy.

Wasn't he in some westerns in the 60's?
Seems like I remember him from some cowboy shows also.

On the news last evening, they said that Helmsley was a post office employee who decided to take acting lessons. I’d say that was a good decision.

Thanks for the good, clean entertainment that both these men gave us in the Good Ol’ Days of family TV. Three generations used to enjoy watching the same shows, and with only three networks, found it difficult to choose which good show to watch on a given night. Now we have a couple hundred channels, and we often decide to turn the TV off because there is nothing worth watching.

I would have laughed in his face. Referring to one’s spouse as “property” is quite funny. (Because it’s so absurd)

Oh, please. He probably said it to irk Tomlin, whose looks pretty much prevented HER from being any man’s property.

Besides, my husband lovingly tells me I belong to him. What’s wrong with that? I do. We belong to each other.

This year is turning out to be another 1977 so far as celebrity deaths are concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire generation of older entertainers passed this year.

Zsa Zsa Gabor, Phyllis Diller, Eli Wallach, and Kirk Douglas are still alive (so far as I know), but for how much longer?

Seems like bits and pieces of my growing up years are passing away every day. Sigh.

I know I watch a lot of tv when I saw that Chad Everett died and then I immediately say he played “Dr. Gannon” on Medical Center.

there’s an MST3k line that goes “tiny Medical Center starring tiny Chad Everett” I think from Devil Fish.
