And that’s the end of PSU as a football power, probably for decades.

"And that’s the end of PSU as a football power, probably for decades."

If it were up to me to deal out the punishment I would impose a lifetime ban on all sports programs AND give everyone involved (From the Dean to the janitors) 20 years in"Big Boy Prison" and put them in the general population.

Anything to keep the spotlight off the key culprit: The PC atmosphere for homo agenda promotion carefully constructed by former PSU President Graham Spanier to intimidate even a high profile football coach like Joe Paterno into cowardly silence.

Give the pink mafia another decade or so and their perversions, even toward young boys, won't even be a crime anymore.

I don’t know why they didn’t impose the “Death Penalty”, because what they did will have the same result. Penn State ought to just suspend its’ football program for 5 years instead of going to through the motions and spending money to prop up a big loser.

"Any entering or returning student-athlete will be allowed to immediately transfer and compete at another school. Further, any football student-athletes who remain at the university may retain their scholarships, regardless of whether they compete on the team."

Student athletes should transfer to other schools - those who don't want to should take the money and refuse to play.

The NCAA has no business punishing the football program for this. This had nothing to do with football except that there were coaches involved in non-football activities. NO NCAA rules were broken, the football players are being punished for something they had nothing to do with.
