OK, I’m not really a follower of college sports, so what does this really accomplish? It’s not like the kids who lost are suddenly gonna feel like they won. I guess what I’m asking is, does this really have any practical effect or is it just a “feel good” measure?

Not sure. When I first read it.. I thought what did the players do?! Isn’t vacating those wins a punishment against the players who (from my understanding) had nothing to do with this at all? Granted, JoePa was the coach but the players were the ones who won the games.
