Reports of him having an adult site profile seeking the company of (one or more) women means nothing to them because anyone like this must be painted as marginal as possible since "CRAZY" isn't enough on its own.
You can be sure there are people just angry that he isn't part of this or that group that help them feel safer and more secure in their little worlds and reinforce their biases.
The same mentality that wanted him to be Tea Party is reflected in those who insist he must be homosexual or OWS or Muslim.
It's a sad commentary.
Hey, I pretty much always jump to conclusions when I hear of things like this.
In this case, I simply think “white guy” - and I’m right again. It’s the profile. Shockingly I’ve been wrong a few times the last couple years - the “snipers” were black (and Moslem), the Ft. Hood thing, and an oriental guy for VA Tech. But those seem to be the exceptions rather than the rule.
Otherwise, though, I’m not going to tack on my view of what he should be like, until I hear more details.
And frankly, it’s not what the person’s description is, so much as what his motivation is. These white-guy mass shootings basically never have much motive except “I’m a jackass and want to shoot up people cuz I’m mad”. He could be homo but that has nothing to do with the crime; he could be raised Christian but that is not his motivation for doing it.
