After months of frustration, Sea Shepherd finally find their target - the Nisshin Maru.

Seahipies just prop fouled one of their small boats.

The Irwin’s final mission launched 8 prop foulers, and they all failed before forced to head home. Great way to rub salt in the wound.

Yushin #2 and #3 are now towing lines to try to prop foul the Barker.

The Whalers got 267 whales. Admiral Watson will try to purchase a 2nd scout vessel for next season.

Overall, this season was boring. The SeaHippies were too incompetent to even catch the whalers and do dumb things half the time.

Ok, season finale, and their season ending event is showing how they failed to stop whaling? Uh....nice job!!!! :-D

Next year I hope the Japs show up with zodiacs of their own, and terrorize the freaks. It would be a nice change.

If I were the Japs, I’d torpedo them and be done with it.

Whats the difference between the “Whale Huggers” and pirates? Absolutely none. I wonder why the whale ships don’t figure a way to mount a torpedo tube somehow.

Not a good season, overall. Either the sea hippies are getting better at sea, or Animal Planet is editing the show so they don't look so stupid. What happened to the good old days of running the fuel oil into the bilge, or just welding stuff to the floor for no good reason and setting the room on fire?

I don't drink and it's when she is on camera talking about this or that I ask myself, "Is she good looking?" And I can't decide.

The pic I posted is probably about as dolled up as she can get.

Might I suggest...

upgrade the boats so they can out run their tails..
an airplane with some range to search for the processing ship.

Otherwise they might as well sink the boats and be done with it.

Mostly the latter. Also, the whalers seem to be getting more proactive in removing the prop foulers, and throwing hooks at the hippies in the process. I highly doubt the SeaHippies are actually any better at sea, a lot of selective filming and editing.

A formation of Japanese Navy Val Torpedo Bombers dove out of the sun and sent three 1200lb ‘Long Lance’ torpedoes slamming into Bob Barker. As the sun set upon the Sea Hippies clinging to the overturned hull of Bob Barker, hypothermia set in. Perhaps next season will prove to have a much more civilized outcome? Blubber sandwich anyone?
