Why is John McCain feeble-minded? Probably because he had his head bashed in too many times by the North Vietnamese.

Sad but true.

I feel sorry for the guy, but he shouldn’t be in a position of authority. He should be in a mental institution where he can be helped.

Bttt. Incidentally, Michelle Bachman was my first choice for President. Then it was Newt Gingrich, but we're stuck with Willard instead.

McCain has been suspect for decades. One could go back to POW biographies and Keating Five rumors; but allegations aren't worth much. There are facts:

McCain's presidential eligibility was challenged when he ran for president in 2000. The issue was never resolved, in spite of a half dozen congressional hearings and two law suits. The law firm defending him, Chicago's Kirkland and Ellis, was prominent on Obama’s election committee. The attorney from Kirkland & Ellis, Christopher Landau, employed a young law-school grad, Sarah Herlihy, to write a Chicago Kent Law Review article in 2006 lambasting the Natural born citizen requirement for president. During the eight years before Obama's candidacy there were eight attempts to amend Article II Section 1, all failing, and dozens of essays from legal academia. Efforts to make Scharzenegger by Orrin Hatch, and two amendments which would have made Obama eligible sponsored by John Conyers never left house.

If Democrats couldn't make the attractive Obama eligible, perhaps they could silence those with the standing to challenge him? The ineligible McCain was the key to silencing challenges. Obama and his campaign committee chair, Clare McCaskill, tried to intercede for McCain, submitted a Senate Bill 2678 in February 2008 - the ‘‘Children of Military Families Natural Born Citizen Act’’. It failed to pass, and needed, in any case, become an amendment (which this writer would support!). Then, in April 2008, with time running out, Obama, McCaskill, Clinton, Leahy, Webb, and a few other Senators submitted another McCain directed action, Senate Resolution 511. It had no legal effect, but proclaimed how they all thought McCain should be considered eligible because he was born to two citizen parents, satisfying one of the conditions, and by the fact that though The Canal Zone was unincorported, that was an oversight which all US Senators thought should be overlooked. Every US Senator, including Obama, signed SR 511 in April 2008, agreeing that a natural born citizen must have two citizen parents. That was a masterful con-job. Obama told us all he was a naturalized citizen, not a natural born citizen, and no “officer of the court” but Nathan Deal said a word.

McCain certainly has baggage. He received Soros’ funding for his McCain Feingold activities. McCain serves the people who pay for him. His ineligibility kept Republicans from vetting Obama. McCain is emblematic of the Republican party. Allegiance to the Constitution is an illusion. Like our legal system, politics as an adversarial enterprise. Respect for the Constitution is deployed only when it serves the interest of the client - the politician redistributing the product of the minority in this nation working in the productive sector - not the government. We are what John Adams warned about, a nation based upon men and not laws. Believe little of what anyone says, because so many are now beholden to the party in power for their livelihood, they will not say what they have been told is off-limits. Politicians, like Nathan Deal, who raise forbidden questions, will quickly be dealt with (Deal was a Georgia Congressman who asked for eligibility verification in early 2009, and immediately faced Justice Department ethics charges based upon reanalysis of Deal’s old income tax submissions; he is now governor of Georgia).

Who redistributes our petroleum import expenses? Who, according to New York Assemblyman Percy Sutton, Malcolm X's attorney, Army Air Force veteran, self-made attorney, funded Obama’s education? Whalid bin-Talal, who almost simultaneously, donated twenty million dollars to Harvard, and created the Al whalid bin-Talal Islamic Studies Center, Harvard Divinity School's largest division. Follow the money. Bin-Talal is News Corp’s largest external stock holder. News Corp owns Fox, Wall Street Journal, and is a major stock holder in Cisco, Citibank, Apple, ... Percy told us all that he was asked, and did intercede, to gain Obama's admission to Harvard law, by his friend, and attorney for bin-Talal, Khalid al-Mansour. Al-Mansour, before adopting his Muslim name, was Don Warden, one of the founders of the Black Panthers, and a virulent black nationlist in the mold of Reverand Wright.

McCain has been for sale since his return from Viet Name. He is certainly not alone. Congressional term limits should help. Some suggest appointment of Senators as provided for in our 1779 Constitution. Senators and, to a lessor extent, Congressman, are brokers. They are more like bankers where collateral is campaign funds. Neither McCain nor Obama were ever eligible candidates but, for the moment, the emperors’ cloths are off-limits, because both parties are complicit. Every politician knows. Even Bobby Jindal avoided the issue during an advertised appearance with Roger Hedgecock yesterday, where eligibility was advertised as a point Jindal would address. Jindal and Rubio are much discussed because appointment of a natural born citizen as Romney's VP leaves both parties unprotected. That is why Suzanna Martinez, a wonderful conservative Governor with Mexican heritage, isn't being pushed. Condi Rice has dirty laundry and is already an advocate of some Arabist plans to cripple Israel. Alan West is constrained in Florida, and Republicans are frightened of his open and sholarly knowledge of Muslim history and practices. Even Paul Ryan, whose grasp of economic facts will interfere with hidden management of our resource allocation, is dangerous. Bachmann is anathema for similar reasons. Republicans want another eunuch, like Huckabee or Rubio. McCain was so far left that Palin, whom they underestimated, was selected to add a little interest to the McCain candidacy, which this writer believes, was never intended to prevail over Obama.
