Told my wife last night that I’d like to see Romney declare an all out nuclear war on Obama. Lay out 3 1/2 years of lies, misstatements, half truths and failures.

Romney knows he doesn’t have to do that: the people who will wind up voting for him have already done it.
Going forward,the real project for us is to let Romney know
he cannot take our vote for granted, in the same way the Dems
have always taken the black vote and other voting “blocs” for granted.
At least Romney is showing himself better than McCain was at this point-—but McCain had Sarah Palin to keep the base excited and hopeful. Just pray that Romney’s Veep choice is not someone (like PAWLENTY ,will keep us wondering what’s up
with the overall Romney message-—one thing is sure, someone like Pawlenty will pale next to Palin. Romney may be half-right in assuming that too strong a Veep will undermine his chances. Mc Cain and his team probably believe that to this day, even though Palin brought him hundreds of thousands of votes he didn’t deserve.
