If the Space Center is not your thing, go west to Tampa. I like the waterfront and of course “The Bounty” from the MGM movie is moored there.
Then there are all the other amusement parks. But, after Disney, most are sort of a let down.
I agree w/those who say KSC & TPA bay area; include Sanibel if you go West.
