She was convicted of a misdemeanor, and only spent 30 days in jail for the shooting of Spider Sabich, and has kept a low profile since then. I believe there was a civil suit by the family against her that was settled out of court.
This is a wierd kind of connection; but, when I was a young woman one of my first jobs was as a data input operator at United Airlines and I would input airfreight airbills. We would get airbills for "human remains" all the time, and mostly you would just mindlessly input the "data". I was doing a batch and got an airbill with human remains "Spider Sabich". The whole Claudine Longet thing was still big in the news, so it was of interest. So, I don't know how many degrees of separation one gets for inputting the airbill for a incident like this; but, that is my story.
