A jet-ski rider who tried to retrieve the surfer’s body said yesterday it was a "massive, massive white shark" and "there was blood everywhere".
The shark tried to knock Matt Holmes, 22, off his jet ski as he attempted to pull the man on to the back of his craft.
Then the shark returned to take the lifeless body for a second time.

Well according to uncle obie, for the shark to have been successful it didn’t get there by itself and had help from somebody. So, who is that somebody?

I thought for a second it said “Bin Laden,” and I said “isn’t he already shark food?”
He died doing what he loved... But you just know he crapped himself the moment he realized what was about to happen.

There are plenty of whites here off Chatham, Mass. It will be interesting to see if the local press picks up this story from Australia to cause unrest among Cape Cod surfers and swimmers.
Two press outlets called me last week asking about the photo of the dorsal following the kayaker on Cape Cod .
I said it was a basking shark dorsal. They didn't want to hear that because an expert said it was a white shark dorsal- but later on after further review he said it was a basking shark dorsal. There were whites right in that area but also basking sharks. - Tom
