You are right, we do not need a Romney win to take the Senate.

So tell me, how do we keep from getting these RINO’s as our Presidential nominees? We kicked McCain to the curb but loved Sarah. How come we got another RINO this time?

It would help if democrats could not vote in our primaries.

Regrettably, I did not kick McCain to the curb. I voted for Sarah Palin and he went with the package deal. It was a brilliant move, on McCain's part, to tease us with Palin. It certainly helped him a great deal. But not even that move could drag him across the finish line in victory. As such, I don't think Romney has a shot at all, especially considering his disdain for Palin and all things conservative.

We got another RINO this time around simply because the GOP-e believed that when push came to shove, we'd act like good little republicans and tow the party line. For as long as we do that, we will continue to receive their RINO hand me downs. I should not have voted for McCain. I should not have acted like a good little republican. It's a mistake I don't aim to repeat.

Find out who the POTUS candidates will be on your state's ballot. Determine if there is one you can support without sacrificing your principles. Vote for him or her even if there is no "R" behind his or name. If you don't have such a candidate on your ballot, write someone in. Virgil Goode is on my ballot and gaining popularity. I think he makes for a fine suggestion. Then say a prayer and get a good night's sleep. A good chunk of the population is going to spend election day trying to install another statist / socialist president. And, if they succeed and Obama or Romney wins, we'll have another four years of fight ahead of us -- so you'll need that rest.
