A Win/Win for ABO’s and ABR’s
7/12/12 | bestiq

Posted on 07/12/2012 10:13:18 AM PDT by bestiq

We all, as Conservatives, can agree on this; Washington DC needs to get our message, We Refuse To Let America Die A Socialist Death!

ABO’s and ABR’s can unite to send this message by doing the following. In all the states that Romney can win, vote for him. In all the states where he has no chance to win (the West Coast, the Northeast, ect.), vote Republican all the way down the ticket except for President where we vote for whomever each of us thinks is a true conservative. This will also serve as a primary of sorts to tell the people who we think should run, to run.

Romney can win the election this way in the Electoral College, but lose by a landslide in the Popular Vote. Our uniting this way will hold Mitt’s feet to the fire, show the GOP-e we mean business and that their days may be numbered, AND prove to ourselves, True Conservatives, that we do have a voice and together we are loud enough to be heard all the way to the White House!

UNITED WE STAND – DIVIDED WE FALL

No...another stupid idea. Supporting either Obama or Romney is a serious mistake. What follows is a recent Jim Robinson quote:

You either defend life and liberty or you don’t.

I’m sworn to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic and an oath is forever.

Obama believes in the power of the state. Romney believes in the power of the state. Both have records of abortionism, homosexualism, progressivism, statism. Neither defends the constitution or life and liberty.

Those who line up with either are lining up to give unlimited powers to the state and place severe limitations on liberty and individual freedom.

I’m very sorry to have to report to you, my dear friends, that barring a miracle we pro-life and liberty conservatives have already lost the battle for the presidency. With either one of these two statists in power and with the current frame of mind of the SCOTUS, we have witnessed the end of constitutional government in America.

Our only prayer will be that we elect a majority of constitutionally minded conservatives into a majority of the legislative bodies all across this great land so that we the people can we re-assert our sovereign powers and impeach/recall/expel/fire and otherwise remove, rescind, overturn, repeal, abolish, close down and shutter all the corrupt usurping executives, legislators, judges and their corrupt usurping decrees, acts, amendments, treaties, decisions, departments, agencies, commissions, regulations, etc, and fully restore the constitution, restore the limits on government power and restore our God-given Liberty!!

Short of civil war, that’s how you mend it.

I sympathize, but there is an issue of "mandate" is important, and we cannot afford to have Romney with a "Bush/Gore" problem from 2000. Quite the contrary, the message needs to be overwhelming that Zerocare and all of Obama's policies need to be pitched into hell where they came from.

Protest votes rarely have the effect of sending the message that is intended. Perot proved that.

This premise assumes those of us that oppose Romney are only doing so to ease our conscience rather than because we believe a Romney Presidency will be even a greater disaster than four more years of Obama.

A Romney Presidency takes us to the same place we were in 2008 with, ultimately, Democrats in control of the White House and Congress.

A Romney Presidency eliminates the only hope for any real change in 2016 which requires a conservative Presidential candidate.

It is naive to think that we can take the Senate and retain the House, without a Romney win.

Elections just don't work that way.

A Romney win makes a Republican Senate MUCH more likely.

My vote is a personal statement indicating who I desire to hold the highest office in the land.

As a Christian, I truly believe that I will be called to account for my votes before God as part of my judgement.

I cannot, in good conscience, vote for either of them, no matter where I live.

Sola, I agree with you 100%. I am ABR all the way. The truth is though, divided we fall. We all came together in 2010 and won big.
Nobody likes Romney, but unfortunately the one with the most money wins and Mitt comes with his own Fort Knox. Our Votes are all we have and this way we can make a huge statement.

The downside... If Obama wins the popular vote and Romney wins the electoral vote, we get the ultimate Cloward-Piven. A massive effort to delegitimize Romney, by street hoodlums using force, not just nicey-nice liberals with “Re-elect Gore 2004” bumper stickers. Obama would leave office “for the good of the country” — in the same condescending tone he has used all along. But his street hoodlums and purple-shirts will behave like those Philadelphia New Black Panthers last election.

Will you then be with us in four years when we have to try to throw the replacement Marxist out of office?

NO you DO NOT agree with me about Romney or you wouldn’t even consider voting for him. Read Jim Robinson’s post again:

You either defend life and liberty or you don’t.

I’m sworn to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic and an oath is forever.

Maybe we should have the attitude of “Let the civil war begin” and let the new republic emerge. It seems like just a matter of time before the street hoods riot anyway. The Rule of Law would be on our side.

I live on the West Coast. My conservative vote is not going to matter. I am not, and would not, vote for Romney, I’m writing in someone else. I just wish everyone in these blue states would do the same since their vote is not going to matter either.

It is naive to think that we can take the Senate and retain the House, without a Romney win.

I disagree 100% with this factually inaccurate statement. The Republicans gained the House of Representatives in 2010 with Obama as President. We picked up a number of Senate seats (6?) and gubernatorial seats. I'm very proud of my state Wisconsin for electing Ron Johnson and keeping Scott Walker. We DO NOT NEED a Romney win to take the Senate. Not at all. We need to keep doing what we have been doing for the last handful of years -- and that is pushing conservative candidates forward and kicking liberal candidates (like Romney) to the curb. We keep doing that, we keep making gains. Once we stop, it's back to status-quo. A Romney win DOES NOT make a Republican Senate more likely. Just the opposite. Obama handed us the House on a silver platter, not John McCain.

A Presidential year is

a presidential year is

a presidential year!

You are wrong.

2010 has virtually nothing to do with 2012. Obama was NOT on the ballot in 2010, but his policies WERE!

If you can't support Romney, then I ask that you STFU and simply work for a Conservative Congress.

A shot against Romney, at this time, IS A COMPLAINT AGAINST REPUBLICANS AND HURTS OUR CHANCES FOR A GOP CONGRESS!

You are right, we do not need a Romney win to take the Senate.

So tell me, how do we keep from getting these RINO’s as our Presidential nominees? We kicked McCain to the curb but loved Sarah. How come we got another RINO this time?

It would help if democrats could not vote in our primaries.

Actually, YOU are wrong.

Mr. RomneyCARE, author of DEATH PANELS and more,
is the ONLY one who could lose to the TYRANT.

Did you even wonder why Mr. ROmneyCARE had to cheat?
and backstab? Weakness of principles.
