Our township supervisor is fixin to lose his job over an editorial he wrote in the paper. He said "I'll be damned if I'm going to allow any drilling rigs on private property in my township.

He even brought in an EPA "expert" who is actually an attorney who specializes in zoning laws. Basically he's threatening to break the township financially if he doesn't get his way. He might beak the township but he won't be doing it from office.

It looked like there was a rig going in just north of Horning Road, east of where it goes around the swamp a year ago or so. I have no idea what township that is.
