Do you subscribe to the opinion that if anything happens in your neighborhood, you should close your door, pull the shades and cower in your house?
That is one of the major problems, that people do cower and allow beasts to take over society. It happens in neighborhoods and it happens in governments.
Your post brings to mind the saying about the single death you could die if you take a stand on something as opposed to the multiple deaths you die if you are cowardly.

The beasts depend on the marygonzo’s. I’m sure if marygonzo was being attacked by a bunch of thugs, marygonzo would want everyone witnessing it to mind their own business.
