I saw Jimi at least once with the original formation with Mitch Mitchell etc,
Was at the Fillmore East NYC. Jimi was stoned to the max in a swishy way with limp wristed mannerisms (sorry to disappoint) I think the powerful hallucinogenics must have done it. Just guessing here. Saw him another time with Band of Gypsies and Buddy Miles dominated. They played some song “They Don’t Know” Buddy looked like an ex-con gave off that vibe.
