I wonder if the “off duty” cop’s id themselfs as cops???
Unless things have changed since I moved, Houston cops in uniform can work as security in clubs. It actually worked well back when I was there. You didn’t start trouble in these clubs or you were charged with assaulting a police officer. Also, they called their on duty buddies who swarmed in a hurry. There weren’t many problems in the clubs that employed them
