Gald your zukes are doing fine. Last year, mine were big and pretty but didn’t produce a thing. This year, the squash bugs got everything so had to pull up all the zukes, crooknecks, sweet dumplings and delicatas.

The little cherry and yellow plum tomatoes are doing fine but I only got one roma and not a single mr. stripey.

Did put up two batches of pickles (one dill and one bread and butter) this week so that’s something.

Sevin will work on that. Two applications and mine are gone completely. I keep checking once a week at least.

This year I've got zukes, zukes, and more zukes. Some of my plants are beginning to shrivel, but for some reason it has been just right here in MD for zucchinis. I have had great cabbages, some broccoli, the cauliflower did absolutely nothing (I think the weather and leaf hoppers did them in), but my cukes have started coming in great and started getting some good tomatoes. We had a nice rain last night which we need desperately in this hot, hot weather.

My pumpkin and winter squash plants are starting to take over (that and the weeds). I've only been working in the garden in the early morning because of the heat. Tomorrow it's supposed to hit 104, and that is just way too hot for me!
