I'm currently in the process of editing some more archives for future posts, and the format may change somewhat, but if the threads get enough response I'll keep doing it from time to time.
Check out the threads posted on July 8,1999. I fixed many of the broken links on this one. So now all the red lettered post headline links are working. I couldn't find the stories on the rest. Let me know if you like this. ...............

Hey, that was my 33rd birthday! Bookmark bump.
OOPs, I guess the blue all comes out dark red when I use tan background.
So all the BRIGHT RED headlines have the working links. I’ll use a different background color next time, because the preview never showed me that.
You know, when I was looking for the articles to make the links work I ran into your DOWNSIDE LEGACY ARCHIVES a lot. Next time I do this I will be linking to your site.
This time it was all I could do just to get the links working. Many of them are linked to different sites then was originally used because of closed sites and protected archives.
However, a little perseverance and I was able to get enough to make it worthwhile. Now I just need to work out the kinks and it should become much easier, especially if I can create a template to make it easier going.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know your site does come up a lot when searching archival information on the Clintons, so great work.
It doesn’t work as good as you think. It was helpful on only about 3 posts. I had more luck using Google search, but even then I uses yahoo group search for some.
Way back machine has very few archived sites before 2002.

Talk About The Texan
The W Express is some operation. A distinguished state governor called in last week, a public figure much esteemed at this end of the conservative production line, but not an old acquaintance, let alone a phone chum. He had two things on his mind, the first to pass along joyful news of a tax reduction in his state, the second to comment on the candidacy of Gov. George W. Bush, about which the caller was hugely enthusiastic. What does one hear when being spoken to about W? -- That he is a committed conservative who sensibly inflects the message ...
Wow, that is a blast from the past. Lots of names I haven’t seen in a long time.

Go to June 17th from that link and click on latest posts.
Yes, limited dates, but you can see actual comments and see how FR looked at the time. I think that works pretty good for a blast from the past.
When FR started using perl and cgi, it’s harder to find the actual comments, but if you wanted to take the time to search, you could find it. It’s on there.
Are you calling me a TROLL?
You did it to a thread I posted yesterday also.
Please explain yourself.
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
Interesting.
Thanks for posting.
