Is he a romney supporter? That goes against everything he believes in. I see a lot of that, though.

Perhaps even more than you think. For the last several weeks, I've been methodically compiling a list of FReepers who have stated, and in a few cases implied so strongly that it is near enough, that they (like Jim Robinson and you and me) refuse to vote for Romney, that he's a bridge too far.

So for weeks now, when see a post where it looks like that person may be one of us, I go in forum and scan his posts for going back a few pages. A large number of them are marvelously eloquent and accurate and passionate in describing all the pitfalls and evil and betrayal of Romney ... and then somewhere they'll say, "But I'm going to hold my nose and vote for him anyway."

I see it so often that it's become abundantly clear that ABO via Romney is purely deranged, so much so that folks succumbing to it are not aware of their own abandon. It is the biggest red flag among many red flags that Romney, regardless of Obama, is a very, very bad thing for everyone.

I started the list because I wanted to satisfy my own curiosity, to see how many FReepers, like me, stood with Jim Robinson. I figured we'd be a sad but brave minority among FReepers, maybe numbering 60. My list is now at 168, very nearly exceeding threefold my expectations.

Correction — I miscounted. Make that 178, not 168.

Please add me to your list. I’ve said I won’t vote for Romney, I’ve always said it, and I won’t!

Count me as someone who will hold my nose and vote for Romney, as I think one more term of Obama will turn us into Venezuela or Rhodesia.

That being said, I certainly respect the viewpoint of JimRob and others, including good friends of mine, who say they can never vote for a liberal...

I guess I’m a “lessor of two evils” incrementalist sort of guy. I’ll vote for watered-down pro-life legislation hoping to get better laws in the future, and I’ll vote for a guy like Romney if the alternative is that evil Il Duce America-hating Marxist thug Obama...I see the true destruction of our country if he’s elected to a 2nd term.

Months ago I posted an “I’ll never vote for Romney” thread. I don’t know that all those folks have held the line, but it was not an excessively large number of posts, maybe 300 or so, but probably a 100 or so hard line no-Romney voters.

I seriously doubt that Quix was someone who would vote for Romney. And beside the political basis - I would say that on religious grounds, too - since Romney is a member of a CULT GROUP and I’m pretty sure that Quix would not vote for a CULT MEMBER as President of the United States of America.

And likewise for me ... I see a lot of good political reasons for not voting for him, the big ones being abortion and Obamacare (as I think was already mentioned here). But, there is also the reason — that — I would NOT vote for a CULT MEMBER as President of the United States of America.

It’s bad enough having such an anti-Christian as Obama in office (and that’s refraining from talking about the political items). And he sure is one - so antagonistic to Christianity, while pretending, at the same time, to be one!

He basically doesn’t know anything about Christianity (or rather absolutely hates it) - according to the way he talks about dedicated and faithful Christians.

Likewise, if we got a CULT GROUP MEMBER in office as President, he’s liable to try to RAM THROUGH MULTIPLE MARRIAGES for men - on top of all his other bad policies - and allow his CULT GROUP to have multiple wives - to get back at the United States for forcing them to abandon their multiple wives doctrine!

NO ... you don’t want a CULT GROUP MEMEBER as Prresident of the United States (and like I said - besides his bad political stance).

I've been methodically compiling a list of FReepers

Oh my.

This is what comes of SO MANY people basing opinions on what your list says.

As an end result are you going to petition for those folks you disagree
with to be banned? Or taxed? How about a star sewn on their sleeves?

I mean, hey.. since you have this list..

Maybe those folks who didn't make the "happy" side of your list
should just be eliminated. Bam, Zot, Splat, done and over.

Because by God we wouldn't want anyone around here that YOU don't like, with your list making abilities and all.
