This is at least the third time you and I have discussed these issues directly with one another.

And each time you have simply refused to address directly the main issues I have raised in my posts to you.

I am not going to keep repeating myself and there is no reason for you to do so.

I am unalterably opposed to irrationality and dishonesty, even when discussing an apparent GOP nominee of suspect character and motivations such as Mitt Romney.

I am unalterably opposed to defeatism, even when the GOP nominating process and some recent USSC decisions have gone in a way that seems quite bad for conservatism.

If opposing unreason, falsehood, and despair are now against the rules here on FR then so be it.

Nuke away as you see fit.

If opposing unreason, falsehood, and despair are now against the rules here on FR then so be it.

So in other words, if someone has concerns about Romney, they are being unreasonable and are bearing falsehoods.

I'm sorry, but a quite reasonable and truthful conservative concern about Romney can be raised - that he is a very liberal Republican, that he does not seem to have any core principles other than seeking power and office, that he will change his political views to suit the office he is seeking, and that he refuses to acknowledge how bad Romneycare is. Just for starters.

And regarding the GOP-E, they stabbed Tea Party candidates in the back in 2010 when their choice of RINO lost in the primary. So much for their demands for party unity when the RINO wins.

And we saw the excesses of full GOP control during the Bush years. Bush only discovered his veto pen when Democrats started sending over the spending bills. And Bush showed his willingness to go around the conservative GOP base and cut deals with Democrats and Congressional RINOs to push the worst parts of his agenda.

So conservatives who are voicing doubts and concerns about Romney are hardly being unreasonable, and the cause for such concerns are NOT falsehoods. You would get more traction making a case for Romney if you would realize many of those whose opinion differs from you in that regard have legitimate concerns.

I personally think Romney would be better than Obama, but I can see scenarios where there would barely be a shade of difference. And other cases where having a RINO president would allow the worst of the establishment GOP to have their way in D.C.

I am unalterably opposed to defeatism ,,,

Then why are you pushing for Romney? That is complete capitulation to the liberal agenda because of your own defeatism. YOU are the defeatist, not me. It is clear as day.

As for your righteous indignation and claims that others are guilty of "irrationality and dishonesty," your own distorted view of fellow Patriots who have the audacity to disagree with you, is amply demonstrated in just a few of your random gems posted within the past week or so, such as:

the FR He-Man Mitt Haters Club ... ad naseum, like about a thousand times a day ...

And yet there was none of the lies and hysteria directed at [Romney] and his supporters that you see on every political thread these days on FR.

These days Free Republic is all about quitting. ...

Obviously the real priority here on FR is to make sure Obama is re-elected.

And when all else fails, you defile yourself by playing play the Mormon Bigotry card:

There are many people on FR these days who dishonestly seek to waste the time of those who hate Romney less than they do. Why is that? One word: Mormonism. .....

But the most sickeningly hypocritical of all, referring to a person who has and continues to promote the gay agenda such that parents are denied their right to prevent "outreach" of homosexuality to their own children, and adoption agencies must either close shop or relinquish children entrusted to them to homosexual "parents" (that's what happened in Massachusetts -- you can look it up):

I will obey Him, and continue to fight for what I believe is right.

No, in the name of political expediency, you are fighting to elect to the top position of power in the U.S. a person you KNOW is part of "causing little ones to stumble."

You mean to vote "against" Obama but you obstinately refuse to acknowledge the fact that your vote "against" Obama is a vote FOR causing the Republican party to capitulate to liberal dominance in its own ranks. Come 2013, the ONLY thing that will count is what you voted FOR.

It's why I'm voting for a plurality by voting for third party. You claim to be "honest," but are not honest enough to face squarley what you are voting FOR.

Your own brand of falsehood, defeatism and dishonesty fairly leaps off the screen. To see you lecturing folks, to see you presuming to lecture Jim Robinson -- well, it's enough to instill me more and more with confidence that my thinking has led me to the correct position in declining Romney and voting for a plurality via third party. I'm on the better side of this, because character counts. Character DOES matter. You can tell a lot about Romney by the behavior of his supporters.
