PALM BEACH, Fla. – Though he usually focuses criticism on Democrats, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh is scorching Republicans as “clueless” in their efforts to stop President Obama and his health-care agenda, and what he expects to be its “disastrous” impact on everyday life in America.
“We’re left with Obamacare, and we are left with a damaged Constitution, and we have a Republican leadership that’s clueless in how to slow any of this down,” Limbaugh said this afternoon.
“If this keeps going this way, we’re going to lose it all, folks. Unless some people get their heads in the game and focus on what really happened here and what really is happening, we’re going to go down the tubes.”
Limbaugh says last week’s 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding President Obama’s signature legislation is disastrous, severely damaging the Constitution.
“And apparently it hasn’t sunk in yet in the Republican establishment how outrageously bad this is,” he explained.
“This is why Republicans and conservatives make no progress in pushing back massive government. We don’t live in Realville. Well, they don’t live in Realville. They refuse to accept the reality of what’s going on. And so they try to dress it up. They look for silver linings.

However, in this world, the tyrants consider themselves gods. Rebellion against tyrants is a rebellion against the gods, and God is the tyrant for setting standards on humanity.
All he did was makes excuses for the wimp GOP from the day the took congress in 94 all the way through the Bush administration
Callers would plead with him to get on the GOP to grow a spine and all he did was chastise them

When the Georgia Judge gave obama a pass in being held in Contempt for failing to even honor a subpoena, I thought at least rush would exploit the hypocrisy..not a peep. Just like the “Constitutional Scholar” levin..not a chirp. Just like the gop “leadership”..pussies
As I have said on FR before, the only time I remember him getting truly angry with a caller was in ‘94(?) when caller Karen from Whitefish Montana said that very thing to him and he basically told her to drop dead. In recalling that conversation, she was correct in every particular, and he was incorrect. What really got to him IIRC was when she called the GOP establishment “Happy conservatives.” His anger was palpable.

Just think if Rush and Levin had addressed Obama's eligibility issue a few years back, we wouldn't be in this mess, would we?

I didn’t remember her name (I thought it was Carol) but I absolutely remember the call. I was on the road at the time and remember yelling at my radio as he was telling her how she was wrong.
I have been a Rush fan since he was on the air in Sacremento many years ago, and still will be. However, Rush makes the all to common mistake of lumping Republicans and Conservatives in the same basket. The Republican Party's rank and file are NOT repeat NOT conservative in the main. They haven't been for quite some time now, in my most humble of opinions. Especially not when it comes to strict adherence to the Constitution.
That reason compelled me to re-register for voting as "un-affilitated" back in 1998.
Rush's conclusion, however, is correct the Republic is continuing to spiral "down the tubes", at an ever increasing velocity.

I was wondering what it would take for him to come out and say that. He’s always said, “I’ll tell you when it’s time to panic.” — and I figured that this might be the thing to make that happen. I don’t need him to come out and say it; I’m there already.
Two people I mostly blame: Sen McConnell and Rep Bohner. Worthless to Republicans, priceless to Democrats!
